4/24/07

Had a decent day today, running good once again on Full Tilt.

I started the day off with an hour and 15 minute session on FT 100nl 6max, which was a little swingy, but I wound up making $33.

Here's a nice river call from this session I made against a donkey, who missed his frush draw:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $28.70
BB: $98.50
UTG: $273.70
MP: $57.85
toohigh305 (CO): $98.50
BTN: $80.55

Preflop: toohigh305 is dealt (6 Players)
2 folds, toohigh305 raises to $3.50, BTN calls $3.50, SB calls $3, BB calls $2.50

Flop: ($14) (4 Players)
SB checks, BB checks, toohigh305 bets $10.50, BTN calls $10.50, SB folds, BB calls $10.50

Turn: ($45.50) (3 Players)
BB checks, toohigh305 checks, BTN checks

River: ($45.50) (3 Players)
BB checks, toohigh305 checks, BTN bets $24, BB folds, toohigh305 calls $24

Pot Size: $93.50 ($3 Rake)

BTN had (a pair of Threes) and LOST (-$38)
toohigh305 had (two pair, Eights and Threes) and WON (+$52.50)

Then I fired up JokerStars, and played my usual $11 1 rebuy/1 add-on, and the $27.50 Guaranteed, and went nowhere. I'm just gonna be playing these for a while 2 or 3 times a week I think.

After I busted out of the tournys, I took a short break, and played some more on Full Tilt. The session was really short @ only 15 minutes, but that's b/c I hit some very nice pots, and made one very nice play.

Here's my biggest pot of the day, against a donkey who wasn't gonna get squeezed, and decided to shove AQo over my 3bet PF with JJ, which held up:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $107.50
toohigh305 (BB): $116.80
UTG: $99.50
MP: $104.95
CO: $197.85
BTN: $96

Preflop: toohigh305 is dealt (6 Players)
UTG calls $1, MP folds, CO calls $1, BTN raises to $6, SB calls $5.50, toohigh305 raises to $29, 3 folds, SB raises all-in to $107.50, toohigh305 calls $78.50

Flop: ($223) (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Turn: ($223) (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($223) (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $223 ($3 Rake)

SB had (Ace Queen high) and LOST (-$107.50)
toohigh305 had (three of a kind, Jacks) and WON (+$112.50)

Here's another standardish hand where I stack QQ on the flop with cowboys:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $103.10
BB: $223.95
UTG: $90.65
MP: $63.85
CO: $173.60
toohigh305 (BTN): $100

Preflop: toohigh305 is dealt (6 Players)
UTG folds, MP raises to $3.50, CO raises to $10, toohigh305 raises to $35, 3 folds, CO calls $25

Flop: ($75) (2 Players)
CO bets $65, toohigh305 calls all-in for $65

Turn: ($205) (2 Players - 1 All-In)

River: ($205) (2 Players - 1 All-In)

Pot Size: $205 ($3 Rake)

CO had (two pair, Queens and Jacks) and LOST (-$100)
toohigh305 had (two pair, Kings and Jacks) and WON (+$102)

And here was that nice play that I mentioned, which I created a post about on 2+2 that got some decent discussion:

Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $0.50/$1 Blinds - 5 Players - (LegoPoker HH Converter)

SB: $100.50
BB: $108.55
UTG: $28.90
CO: $113.70
toohigh305 (BTN): $100

Preflop: toohigh305 is dealt (5 Players)
UTG calls $1, CO folds, toohigh305 raises to $4.50, SB raises to $15.50, 2 folds, toohigh305 calls $11

Flop: ($33) (2 Players)
SB bets $24, toohigh305 raises all-in to $84.50, SB folds
Uncalled bet of $60.50 returned to toohigh305

Pot Size: $81 ($3 Rake)

I felt really manly after that hand, lol.

At the end of the day I was looking at a graph for my play on FT 100nl 6max since I started grinding the level, and I was particularly pleased with how I've been playing over my last 5k hands. I've made $2.3k running at $45.50/100 hands. My only problem with this is that it shows I really should be playing more hands, as these 5k hands occur over a 18 day time frame, which means I've averaged about 285 hands a day, which really isn't a lot. Anyway, here's the graph of this sick run, possibly my best 5k hand run ever, and a very pretty looking graph for me as well:

So I wound up playing for 1 and a half hours total on the day at Full Tilt, 380 hands, and won $255, running at 17.7/13.2/2.4. Counting my donkament losses, I made $196 total on the day, not bad at all.
